Gumpaste/Fondant Carnation

This is a carnation made of Wilton Fondant. For my first try I don't think it's too shabby. I plan to post a tutorial since I tried watching video's and looking online and for some reason mine just would not come out the same. This was very easy to make and you can make it in white fondant and simply use petal dust to color along the way. These flowers would be beautiful on a cake.

Superman or Super Dad Cookies

I made two set of cookies with my kiddos for my on Father's Day, one for daddy and one for Papa (my dad). When I looked online for father's day ideas everything that popped up was Super Dad and the other we chose were sports theme for my dad. You could use the Superman Emblem and replace the S with Dad or you can do Super Dad as I did. And you can replace Dallas Cowboys with any sports team. The cowboys are my dad's favorite football team. These can be done with or without a kopykake projector.  Stayed tuned for a tutorial on exactly how I made these.

A Sweet Dilemma's Beginning

I love learning new things, crafting, baking, knitting, sewing, crochet, D.I.Y., all of those things. I love that there are so many talented people online that are willing to share their stories, journey's as well as experience and expertise with others. DISCLAIMER: I am no expert! But with that said I thought why not share with you my journey. We'll learn new things together and hopefully I can teach you something new every now and then. The Dear Hubby helped me come up with the name A Sweet Dilemma because first of all I love all things sweet, and secondly it's so hard to choose between all the amazing sweets (not just baked goodies) that are out there. Cookie, cakes, crafts, etc.  I don't want to limit this blog to just cookies and cakes (although that is greatly what you will see here).
